Westwood Lodge

One more rant about Springfield. Apart from the city of Lincoln, they're also known for their horseshoes. What's a horseshoe you ask?!
Quote from Wiki:
The horseshoe sandwich originated in Springfield, Illinois. This open-faced sandwich begins with thick-sliced toasted bread, and most often hamburger patties or ham. Other meats used commonly are deep fried pork tenderloin, grilled or fried chicken breast, and fried fish filets. There is also a "breakfast" horseshoe that uses eggs and hash browns. The meat is topped with french fries and smothered with a "secret" cheese sauce. With its many variations, it is a local favorite not often found outside Central Illinois.
I found a place called Westwood Lodge that sells horseshoes, but they call it "snowshoes". This place is not for vegetarians, you can tell from the decor.
